BAC BUILDING  
completion of major building program

This year has seen the completion of BAC's extensive three year building program. The only new building project to commence this year was Stage 1 of the Tucker Run extensions.

Building work has been completed for the JET Crèche, Bawinanga Outdoor Supply, BAC Workshop, and BAC Fuel. At least a month was spent repairing the damage caused by Cyclone Monica.

Since March this year the building team has consisted of one qualified tradesman assisted by a crew of up to eight local semi-skilled Aboriginal men. The men are learning new skills on the job and can now independently undertake many of the ?????????????
